Delivery & Shipping Policy

Effective Date: September 9, 2025

By using Ukimart’s services and placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined in this Delivery & Shipping Policy, as well as Ukimart’s other policies.

1. Agreement to Third-Party Service Policies

By agreeing to this policy, you acknowledge and accept the policies of the following third-party delivery services:

Your order and its fulfillment are subject to the terms and conditions of these service providers.

2. Scope of Services Provided by Ukimart

Ukimart provides services that facilitate the delivery of your purchased items:

  • From Ukraine to Australia using Nova Poshta Global.

  • From our Sydney warehouse to your Australian address using AusPost, if selected during the order request process.

Ukimart acts as a facilitator for the delivery of goods and ensures that items move safely through the stages described in this policy.

3. Ukimart Responsibility

Ukimart assumes responsibility* only for items that:

  • Do not breach any of Ukimart’s policies (e.g., prohibited items, customs restrictions).

  • Are handled by Ukimart or its agents at the following stages:

    1. When an item is received by one of our assigned agents in Ukraine, and passed to "Nova Poshta" for delivery to Australia**.

    2. When items are received at our Sydney warehouse, and are aftewards passed over to AusPost for final delivery within Australia (if applicable), or passed to the client through offline pick-up.

Items outside these stages are not the responsibility of Ukimart.

*An exclusion applies. Please read the exclusion at the bottom of this page. 

**By submitting an order, you agree to take full responsibility off ukimart and its aligned agents/representatives in case of shipment loss during parcel handling by "Nova Poshta" or AusPost.

4. Customer Responsibility

Customers are fully responsible for ensuring:

  • Items are delivered to their assigned Ukimart agent in Ukraine.

  • Deliveries to the assigned agent are sent only via Nova Poshta.

  • Items are sent to the correct post office or parcel locker associated with their agent.

  • The items sent to the assigned agent match the descriptions and all properties of items specified in the related order request.

  • The uploaded tracking numbers of parcels for items within the order match, eg. the tracking number belonging to a certain parcel (which only contains item "X") is uploaded for item "X" only.

Failure to follow these instructions may result in Ukimart refusing to accept the items, and the customer assumes full responsibility for any loss or mishandling.

5. Non-Acceptance of Unauthorized Shipments

  • Parcels sent to Ukimart agents using services other than Nova Poshta will not be accepted.

  • Ukimart is not liable for any items sent through unauthorized methods.

  • Customers are responsible for any costs, losses, or delays resulting from non-compliant delivery methods.

6. Legal References and Enforcement

This policy is governed by the laws applicable in:

  • Australia:

    • Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010) – regarding delivery, consumer rights, and liability.

    • Contracts Review Act 1980 (NSW) – applicable to consumer contracts.

  • Ukraine:

    • Civil Code of Ukraine – provisions regarding shipping, contracts, and liability.

    • Law of Ukraine on Postal Services – governs the legal framework for postal delivery.

By placing an order, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions, and that Ukimart’s liability is limited as described above.

7. Delivery Time Frames

In order to provide you an estimate on the time delivery frame for your order with Ukimart, we're informing you that the time frame under which the delivery times for most our orders fall under is 14-35 days. Meanwhile, by agreeing to this policy, you acknowledge that the mentioned above delivery tiem frame is just an estimate, and that you are aware that if your order contains items that are popular amidst the customers of Ukimart (eg. vyshyvankas), your order might be delayed, as the delivery companies put restrictions on the maximum amount of same items in one bulk shipment of the Ukimart orders from Ukraine to Australia.

8. Policy Changes

Ukimart may update this policy at any time. Updated policies will be posted on the website with a revised effective date. Continued use of Ukimart services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

*Exclusion statement: 

By submitting an order and agreeing to the above policy, the customer confirms awareness of the risks involved in delivery from Ukraine under the current war conditions and releases Ukimart from any liability or responsibility for loss or damage caused by such uncontrollable events.
